All Sophie’s knitwear is individually made with great attention to detail. From meticulous hand finishing to exquisite hand made buttons. These unique hand felted buttons are a work of art in themselves, layers of merino tops are rolled by hand and foot for literally hours and hours!
Using the finest quality of merino lambs wool spun and dyed in a traditional Yorkshire mill, the garments are lightly felted to give them warmth and texture whilst retaining its lightweight qualities.
Hand washing and drying flat is recommended. However, should you really feel the need to use a washing machine, wool wash in a pillowcase and completely fill the machine with towels so that there is virtually no movement. Do not dry clean if there are any hand felted buttons on your knitwear.
