After completing training at Dartington Pottery Devon in 1985, where they met, Rob and Vicky then established their pottery. Over the years they have developed a wide range of products, selling in many recognised galleries and shops in the UK.
Vicky makes gorgeous tableware inspired by nature and her lovely country garden. Vicky’s work is both highly practical and beautifully decorative. Each piece is hand thrown in cream based earthenware then decorated with slips and glazes.
All the pots are hand thrown, brush and sponge decorated with cherries, plums peaches, and other summer and autumn fruit. Mix and match collection includes jugs, bowls and breakfast cups.
In the process of making she shares pottery tasks with her husband Rob. They each make their own pots, but Rob is the one who packs and fires the kilns and he spends a lot of time firing his Raku Kiln.
Vicky, produces her pots, loves throwing and decorating. She is involved in teaching at our studio, paperwork and all aspects of keeping the business running. She also loves cycling and tea drinking!
