Caroline was born in Pembrokeshire and has sketched and painted as long as she can remember. She is particularly inspired by rugged land and seascapes, but she paints whatever ‘ grabs ‘ her!
After leaving school she went to the Laird School of Art in Birkenhead, before spending 5 years at the Royal Academy of Music studying singing. After this her life was taken up by being a GPs wife and bringing up two boys.
More recently she completed an Open College of Art course with Margaret Layton, which was both enjoyable and useful. Since then she has been lucky enough to work with several inspirational artists, including: Ken Howard, Hugo Grenville, Lucy Willis, Tom Coates and David Tress. All these artists have been hugely influential to her and have given her great encouragement with her painting.
