Making A Purchase
During this period of lockdown please be aware that Paypal and Stripe fees incurred by the gallery will not be reimbursed if the items ordered are returned.
If you are local to the gallery please place your order by email or telephone rather than through the online payment systems in place on our website. This will avoid you being charged for delivery.
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Online gallery, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on “Order” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
You can then checkout and make a payment by credit/debit card using STRIPE secure payment system.
We use the Stripe platform to securely process payments. No credit card information is stored on our servers.
Stripe is the new global standard for payments online. Stripe handles billions every year for businesses around the world.

All prices on our web site include UK delivery.
For overseas orders including Europe, USA and beyond please place your order online and you will be sent an invoice for the extra postage/courier costs. This will need to be paid before items are dispatch.
Our prices are set out on our website in Pounds Sterling are inclusive of UK-rated VAT.
Your are responsible for the disclosure and payment of any import duties or other taxes which apply in the country to which the products are delivered.
Prices remain in force until we publish new prices on our website.
Whilst we try to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, mistakes can sometimes occur. If we discover an error in the price of products you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible and give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as being cancelled.
If the order is cancelled, we will refund any money which we have taken from you.
We reserve the right to change our prices.
Shipping and Handling
All UK mainland items are sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery (next day between 8am-4pm) or Recorded Delivery ie Signed for, to your home or work address. For larger items such as garden sculpture and furniture we use a courier service.
International, Scottish Highlands and Ireland delivery, prices on application.
We require a signature for all parcels that we send out. If you are not in when a delivery is attempted, the parcel will be taken to your nearest postal sorting depot. A card will be left with instructions on how to retrieve it.
Any orders that are returned to us as undelivered will have a chargeable fee for carriage of £10 plus VAT plus administration costs.
Please note that missing parcels cannot have a claim launched until 15 working days after dispatch.

Due to the limited nature of Old Chapel Gallery products, availability is subject to demand. If a particular item has sold out, we will endeavour to re-stock it or help you to find something similar.
Acceptance of your order
We must receive payment of the price of the items and the delivery charges before we can accept your order. We reserve the right to restrict the number of items you may order and to refuse any order. If you have provided us with your email address you will receive an email from us confirming that we have received your order. This email is sent automatically and does not mean we have accepted your order. We will notify acceptance of your order by sending an email to you stating that your order has been accepted and dispatched. Otherwise, our acceptance of your order takes place upon delivery of the items. Only when we have accepted your order is a binding contract created between us.
20% VAT is included in the purchase price.
Credit Card Security
All credit/debit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.
We value your satisfaction very highly and guarantee that the highest standard of craftsmanship is used in all our products, but because of the nature of our items for sale pieces may vary slightly from images shown on our web site.

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. You may return any unwanted or unsuitable items for an exchange or refund, within 7 days provided they are returned in a new and unused re-saleable condition and with the items original packing. Postage and packing costs are non refundable.
If you are returning jewellery the piece must be unworn and received in perfect condition in the original packaging. Earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

You are responsible for the return postage costs.
Unless you have statutory rights to reject the goods, items made to a customers’ specification or personalised goods are non-returnable.
To return an item under this Returns Policy please send the item to: Old Chapel Gallery, East Street, Pembridge, Herefordshire, HR6 9HB. Nothing in this Returns Policy affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
The customer is responsible for paying all shipping charges.
Cancelling your order before dispatch
For stock items you may cancel your order within 7 days before dispatch but you must inform us by email or in writing.

Nothing said by our sales personnel shall amount to a variation of these Terms and Conditions or a representation about the nature or quality of our items.

Your order and the formation of the contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law
